I spoke to Johnny Giles outside and spoke to him about the 74 promotion when he was our player manager. Told him I was only 7 at the time but thanked him for what he did for us. He was very humble and said it’s ancient history but I told him it was ALBION history and we all remembered his time with us with great fondness. Also spoke to Super Bob, Ian Hamilton, John Barnes and Lee Hughes. A brilliant day to celebrate a brilliant man RIP Cyrille.
