That man Boyd strikes again in the 1st minute but thankfully an alert Ollie Shaw given a 'gift of a goal' by the Killie goalie, 'dropsy' MacDonald, which is a fitting reward for the young man after being 'robbed' of a wonderful 'strike' at Tynecastle! It is a pity Swanny didnae have his 'shooting boots' on today as his missed goal opps could well have been converted to endorse Hibs' domination of this match with a victory!

A much better fitba match than the one midweek, kilmarnock have improved hugely since we last played them last but i thought we made them look pretty ordinary for large parts of the game. Hanlon struggled a bit with boyd early on i thought until lennon switched mcgregor on to him.

Same problems persist though, starting the game poorly losing a bad goal and being wasteful in front of goal. We created enough to get the 3 points again today but have to settle for a draw. Least it was good to see swanson back.

We finish of 2017 in 4th spot, not too shabby but can't help but feel we could be even further up the table. This is a good hibs side, playing good football that just needs a bit of 'fine tuning'. Hopefully in the january window we will address that.

Also worth mentioning John McGinn's cracking shot that hit the framework of the Killie goal in the second half - we've not been very lucky in recent matches either and this is just another example of being denied what would have been a deserved winner at that stage of the game.

Over the past 4 or 5 games our team have created enough chances to score at least a dozen goals but sadly we`ve managed less than half of that. I don`t look upon this as a crisis because we are playing good football but it`s something that needs to be addressed. Our No 1 target is someone who can stick the ball in the net and I`m pretty sure Lenny has a few players in mind. An interesting transfer window coming up?

It's hard to know what to think. Hibs have without doubt left at least 12 points (maybe more) on the Easter Road turf. Hibs away record has been brilliant with just that 1 awful Fukup at Pittodrie.
Biggest point from my own perspective is that I would easily have snatched anyone's hand off if I was offered this position (4th and above Hertz) at the start of the campaign. So onwards and upwards and don't forget..GGTTH!
