Just watched a match between Real Sociadad and Seville and one of our former players had his swansong tonight.
Admittedly he was only on loan and played only 8 matches for us but, you have to ask what might have been, had we been able to sign him. He's still only 28 years old now.
In tonight's game he came on from the subs bench some 12 minutes from time and, almost inevitably scored to put Sociadad 3-1 up.
