The Canaries v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Owlkev71 - 05-12-2017

THE MATCH

SATURDAY 9TH DECEMBER 5:30PM KICK OFF

LAST MATCH

Looked like losing first half and again no shots on target until after the 50th minute. So a switch to Plan B, several subs later and change of formation (433) we actually decide to attack. Nuhiu seemed to make the difference and Hooper bagged a brace only for the defense to go walkabouts as we let Hull steal a point with Dawson's world class mishit Doh . Why Carlos doesn't start with plan B, none of us can understand or figure out. Maybe he just doesn't want to play Nuhiu from the start and use him as an impact sub (NOW THERE'S WORDS I THOUGHT I WOULD NEVER TYPE)

THE MATCH

We are back on the road as we travel down to Norwich for another televised clash, at least its at a civilized time for all you johnny foreigners. Norwich are struggling at home, with no win in there last seven although they have only lost 2 while drawing 5. With our current run of 4 consecutive draws, a draw would seem nailed on but this is Sheffield Wednesday so we will probably lose 5-0 Doh

CURRENT FORM (WANK, BORING, PREDICTABLE)

Fourth Official: Graham Horwood

THE TEAM

442

No Lees for a couple of months now, he joins FF, Hutch & Boyd on the "see you in 2018 list".
Will Venancio get a role over the next couple of months as we are down to 3 CBs. Matias started satdi but looked rusty as hell. Does Nuhiu deserve a starting role after his exploits v Ipswich & Hull. Will Abdi return to the match-day squad as the busy Xmas/New Year period

Probable team
Westwood, Hunt, Loovens, Van Aken, Fox, Wallace, Bannan, Lee, Reach, Hooper, Rhodes

Hooper will definitely start, it's who you put up front with him is the question mark. Think he will want to leave Nuhiu as an impact for when we are losing again.

SCORE & SCORER (HOME TEAM SCORE FIRST)

Cheers, Kev. Thumb up

I can only see a point in this as well. Carlos is the stalemate master. So negative and more sideways and backwards than JFK's head. I'm fed up, at least when SG was doing this it was because we were poor. We've spent millions on what we're seeing.

Its a complete waste of time from Top to botto we need a change in personal sack the tea lady the feffing lot yet again Doh

any sensible manager would play 4-3-3 with Nuhui in there but thats to much to ask for isnt it Angry

RE: The Canaries v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Maddix - 06-12-2017

I've just watched the highlights and decided that we have far too many one footed players, mainly left, in our squad Angry

How come in 2017, with all the money involved too, players can't be arsed to learn to use both feet Huh It really is simple to do Thumb up It's called get off your f'ucking playstation (or other device) and go and practise being the professional footballer you're supposed to be Angry Honestly, I think my old Sunday league team would beat these lightweight wankers Cool

Am I in the padded cell Huh

A different Bethany pic this game. This is how the draw with Hull affected her:

So come on lads let's give her something to cheer about this week!

RE: The Canaries v The Owls SBC Match Thread - Owlkev71 - 07-12-2017

CC: It is good for Cameron to go to Chesterfield, he is a player with value and this move will be good to him
(Cos he will never play for the first team while I'm in charge)
CC: Tom Lees has had surgery but after 2 days, he was back here walking.. he is a strong character and I believe he will be back very soon
(They will believe anything I say, muppetts)
CC: If we can recover Boyd Hutchinson and Forestieri in January, they will be like new players for us in the competition
(IF???)
CC: We have doubts over Fletcher and Hunt but we think they can be ok for the game
(They aren't playing)
CC: The fans want to see the players run and fight with big commitment on the pitch
(That we expect, WE want them to attack and score goals)
CC:I said to my players, this is Yorkshire, this is Sheffield where people work hard. This is what they want to see on the pitch
(See above answer)
CC: I believe if our players are at their best level, then we can discuss the three points, understanding it will be difficult
(Discuss the 3 points, what is he  talking about????)
CC: Norwich are a dangerous team with quality players.. it will be an interesting game
(Doesn't he say this for every opposition?)
CC: We must be more strong but it is not easy. When games are completely balanced, small decisions make a big difference
(It's time to hand the ref a little brown envelope before the game)
CC: But at this moment we are seven games unbeaten, we are fighting but little things make a big difference in this competition
(7 games unbeaten we might be but we have won only 2 of them)
CC: After the Hull game, we were very frustrated because we deserved much more
(If we had attacked from the very first whistle, the game would have probably been out of sight and that defensive mistake wouldn't have dropped us points)

This shouldn't be a problem for them on Saturday unless their crowd only comprises horses, zebras and elephants who can sleep standing Laugh Laugh Laugh Whistle
