Prediction League Tables Week 12 - bomberbrown1968 - 20-11-2017 A bit of light relief from the perils of appointing somebody who can teach our players how to play with the ball again, we've barely seen one in the last few days weeks months years ![]() Have taken the % column off the tables, seemed pretty pointless and from a personal point of view was a ball ache to work out ![]() In a week where the results might get lost amidst all the Monday morning news about Mr Pulis, the scoring turned out to be very consistent and all very much in the positive!!! Of course the Gamball was the predictable main scoring match, with DD once again getting maximum points from it!! Most got the 8 points on offer and of the others Sanjay did not play it wisely and saved 3 points!! DD maintains his consistent scoring with the highest score this week, closely followed by Zinman and SCO. Everybody else finished in positive double figures with the exception of Twerton, but at least he too was on the plus side this week!! Cheers SCO Premiership DD shows no sign of letting up in his relentless pursuit of the title and eased a comfortable 26 points clear at the top ahead of his nearest rival with a seasons best weekly score, us mere mortals can only envy his Gamball stats ![]() The gap after that is a healthy 36 & 38 points respectively ahead of 3rd placed St Charles and 4th placed Derby (PB weekly score) who are having a battle royal between themselves in recent weeks for a place in the top 3. BBB, another with a PB weekly score, stays in 5th only a handful of points behind, and ready for any slip up from the pair above. Amelia keeps hold of 6th place – for now – as Zinman begins to get some consistency to hold 7th outright to himself this week, another correct Bonus Ball (look at those figures) ![]() Worldclass moves up a place to 8th and was another to score a seasons best weekly score while Twerton drops to 9th with 3 bad weeks on the trot ![]() Matt and Joker who both had their highest scores so far are having their own little mini league to avoid the wooden spoon. Bomber ![]() So a week that saw a record total score for the Championship - more than double the number of points scored than in any other week so far - well done to everyone, It has to be said that Beefy's generous Gamball gift helped. Nobody was brave/stupid enough to forecast anything other than an Albion defeat, though nobody quite foresaw the extent of our capitulation. So 8 points all round.....except for Quantum who chose not to play the Gamball (despite me querying it) and so missing out on Beefy's little present (I understand he's not the first person to do this). Congratulations to Baggieone for the Championship's best weekly score so far this season, with 8 correct results and a correct score with his bonus.I think we can all also agree to thank Baggieone for preventing Beefy from topping the table and spending the week gloating (though I suspect we'll still suffer). The Beef finally managed to get his 20+ score, thereby sending Mr Lai a clear signal that the time is right to finally sack Pulis. Before anyone asks, yes, Beefy's score has been subject to many recounts, the predictions were submitted before kick off and we can't prove any wrongdoing....but if anyone knows or suspects anything different, I'm sure Bomber will be happy to deduct some points. The top 4 this week is completed by Bomber and Bournemouth - odd that the top 4 is made up of all the Bs and in alphabetical order - with Snooty also reaching the 20 point mark. The Vic had his best week of the season, but still only came in 5th with Stairs and Salop suffering due to failing to pick up any correct scores. Despite not using the Gamball gift, Quantum didn't come in last, that honour falling to our long time league leader 4eva - 10 points would normally be a good score but not this week! Zin Championship A new leader in the Championship for the first time since week 5 as Lord Snooty takes over at the summit and cracks the century mark as well, the Insurance Ball saved points now standing at 12 in a row since the season began. 4eva drops down into 2nd, having held top spot for the last 7 weeks and will be keen to make sure he keeps close tabs on the new leader. The pair are 30 odd points clear of this weeks star performer Baggieone with a season high points haul who consolidates his 3rd spot ahead of the chasing pack who are bunching up nicely in mid table knowing a good or bad week could see a climb closer to the top or a drop nearer the bottom in a single week. Bournemouth admirably still holds 4th having predicted 40 less games than some of us although there were some tricky weeks in those early ones. Bomber stays in 5th after another “spot on” Bonus Ball, his fourth from 12 picks, while BaggieVicar sits in 6th just a half dozen points behind. Only 5 points back in 7th is Beefy who as promised notched up a 20+ week for the first time this season ![]() ![]() Salop slipped a place into 8th but along with the 4 above him achieved personal bests in scores to date ![]() Quantum lost ground on all those above him but did keep himself in touch to stay in 9th, while Stairs remains firmly rooted to the bottom of the table some 23 points adrift of his nearest rival ![]() Bomber ![]() RE: Prediction League Tables Week 12 - Baggie_One - 20-11-2017 Soz beefsta RE: Prediction League Tables Week 12 - Beefy 1965 - 20-11-2017 Well Well Well,............ Told you the cream would rise to the top ... Told you I would score +20 points a couple of weeks ago .............. Its happend .... Told you a few weeks ago I would soon be in Mid table ........ It's happening ............ The top two seem out of reach , but third is a realistic target ..... You heard it here first .... If the top Two falter I will be there to pounce .... Is promotion possible ? You bet it is ![]() Beef ![]() RE: Prediction League Tables Week 12 - Zinman - 20-11-2017 I'm sure they're all quaking in their boots Beefy. Or even moves into the top half? Fortunately I can't see it happening.
