De-programming the team - Salopbaggie - 07-11-2017

I was thinking, very like cult members, if and "WHEN" we get a new manager the team are going to need to be de-programmed.

A lot of people after years of being brain washed by a cult leader, need help to be able to see the reality of their situation.  You have probably seen in t.v. programmes, the way they are taken off and locked up until the old doctrine can be programmed back out of them.

To help out the club, I have started to look out for material that the club can use during the de-programming process.

I was thinking of this video running consonantly on a loop during the breakfast period, well it cheers me up in a morning and reminds me life without the anti-Christ is possible.

and this one played every time the team is feeling insecure about their abilities. TP has been telling them for years in a round about way, that they are not good enough players to have a go at the other team. Well, what else does a sit back, damage limitation approach to games say to players other than, "you are not good enough to give the other teams a game!!!"

Please feel free to add your suggestions for material Tongue  Tongue  Tongue

Great video ..... I had forgotten that football pitches have goals at both ends .... I thought it was like when I was a kid and we attacked or defended one goal, Albion defend and the opposition attack.

Oh my days those videos brought back some very happy memories.

Shirt numbers 1-11, standing full houses, muddy pitches, sand in the goalmouths and centre circle, green and yellow stripes and attacking football.

I'm honoured to have seen all of those proudly pull on the Baggies shirt - oh happy days

love watching those old clips
the good old days when we actually spent most games attacking
also worth watching for the advertisements around the pitch

forgot just how good Peter Barnes was
