Can't Wait To Say Goodbye - Devongone - 16-09-2017 Jon Nolan puts Shrewsbury 5 points clear at the top of Division One. Bradley Barry aids Chesterfield's push for the National League. What a wheeler-dealer our manager is. Can't wait to say goodbye. RE: Can't Wait To Say Goodbye - Dancingwilldoit - 16-09-2017 First half was just plain and simple - crap. No shots, no corners, no clue. We should have been 2 down. We actually came out second half and believe it or not played a bit. No call me naïve but when a manager tells he team they are too soft and need to be a bit more nasty, you are asking for trouble and yet again we ended a game with 10 men. We were chasing it after that. Ref was crap but so is Caldwell. Chants of Caldwell out at the end and players arguing with fans. I hope you enjoyed it Blue because I didn't. The club is in turmoil and we are sliding down faster than a Ferrari going over the edge of a cliff. RE: Can't Wait To Say Goodbye - spireitematt - 16-09-2017 So who next? @GrahamSmyth "Gary Caldwell was 'sacked' last week after Crewe game. Players pleaded with board to give him more time, decision was reversed/put on hold." RE: Can't Wait To Say Goodbye - bluepooch - 16-09-2017 I did enjoy it thanks Dancing thought it was a decent game and we played well second half until the sending off. Brad Barry is enthusiastic but unfortunately he is crap ,he lost control and jumped in and deserved to be sent off. People complained that we jumped in with the signing of Saunders but we went through the process of due diligence when we appointed Caldwell and I must admit I though on paper he was a good appointment but it hasnt worked out . I have said before numerous times we do not want a manager who is a serial failure and Dave Allen should put his hand in his pocket and pay a fee for an in-work manager like we did with Cook ,no idea off the top of my head who that would be but I bet there are plenty out there who would come here . I know Ady Pennock isnt working out at Gillingham and he was my choice for here last time so what do I know .It seems almost like pure pot luck RE: Can't Wait To Say Goodbye - spireitematt - 16-09-2017 These are the odds for a new manager: Paul Mitchell 6/1 Kevin Davies 7/1 Jack Lester 9/1 Alan Stubbs 10/1 Owen Coyle 10/1 Steve Cotterill 10/1 Steven Pressley 10/1 Chris Powell 12/1 Neil Aspin 12/1 Neil Redfearn 12/1 Ronnie Moore 14/1 Dean Holden 16/1 Gary Megson 16/1 Graham Alexander 16/1 Tim Sherwood 16/1 Martin Allen 20/1 Danny Wilson 33/1 RE: Can't Wait To Say Goodbye - bluepooch - 16-09-2017 Which means they have no idea RE: Can't Wait To Say Goodbye - Dancingwilldoit - 16-09-2017 Lets face it, any single 1 of them could do better than the last, but can they do well enough to keep us up? RE: Can't Wait To Say Goodbye - St Charles Owl - 16-09-2017 So, come on guys, who do each of you want to see as the new manager?? RE: Can't Wait To Say Goodbye - spireitematt - 16-09-2017 Don't know but Harry's been sacked by Birmingham and Michael Brown has been sacked by Port Vale. RE: Can't Wait To Say Goodbye - St Charles Owl - 16-09-2017 Where is Stuart Gray these days, he could do a job for you, wouldn't be pretty but he would get you organized and difficult to beat. Thats probably the sort of manager you need. |
