Harry Kane (Malta V England) - Arcane Astral Aeons - 01-09-2017 Could Someone PLEASE PLEASE take that effing peg off his nose when he speaks and why oh why does glenn hoddle insist england are a great side having just watched them struggle(ok the 4-0 scoreline suggests otherwise) against malta does he still insist they are great to watch? i get more enjoyment watching my wallpaper on the plus side well there aint one usual england and the pundits will have massive erections about the way they they played except paul merson who as we know from yesterdays transfer comments will be suffering brewers droop RE: Harry Kane (Malta V England) - 4evaabaggie - 01-09-2017 After yesterday's comments, merson will be waxing lyrical about how well Lineker performed against Malta tonight ....... same as how well Albion did signing Fletcher ..... RE: Harry Kane (Malta V England) - Dingle-Dingle - 02-09-2017 I thought Kane was a slug tonight. A two footed player would have scored at least 6. DD ![]() ![]() RE: Harry Kane (Malta V England) - silverbaggie - 02-09-2017 I thought Livermore had a good steady game though. But, don't fancy our chances in the Finals if that's the best they can do. How does Hart keep getting picked? He didn't look that safe and Malta hardly ever attacked his penalty area. Sorry, Silver, but although I'm biased I just don't get how Livermore can get in the England side. I just think he's very average tbh. "Steady" yes, but I'd rather have Yacob in our team, as it looks like he'll be a 70th minute off-the-bench player, like he was on Sunday. RE: Harry Kane (Malta V England) - 4evaabaggie - 02-09-2017 Trying to leave aside the rose tinted glasses, Jake is a solid steady performer, did not watch the game, heard a little on the car radio, his passes all seemed to find another England shirt, true they cod have been a three inch pass or a hundred yard pass, I could not see. But against the opposition in front of us he did his job. Not exciting but did his job .... what more can you ask. In relation to the team performance, we, Albion, play a very defensive game, teams with the world's best players struggle to break us down, we don't get many thumpings, 4-0 or worse. England do not have the world's best players, if teams set up to do a Pulis on us we will find it difficult, not excusing us, a top ten international side should be able to utilise their skill and pace against teams that double or treble up on players ... surely if they have two or three defenders on an attacker there is space available. In a war of attrition you grind them down ...... three late goals testify to that. Without having watched the game, would that be a fair assessment? RE: Harry Kane (Malta V England) - Stairs - 02-09-2017 Did we (England) play? Totally missed that ![]() RE: Harry Kane (Malta V England) - 4evaabaggie - 02-09-2017 (02-09-2017, 18:09)Stairs Wrote: Did we (England) play? We didn't play but we scraped a win ![]() ![]() |
