NEW SEASON

So a new season is upon, new Anniversary kits, new players acquired, deadwood got rid of and CC dropping his archaic formation and tactics................. and then I woke up and bog all had changed Doh

. 442 and keep ball with our defenders and midfield then launch it forward to our small strikers to lose out to the oppositions huge centre backs. 1 new player acquired as I type this and only players who were out of contract have gone. We are desperate for new blood at CB and a few other positions but nothing appears imminent as I type. Personally cant see us mounting a promotion/playoff push and mid-table obscurity looks on the cards or worse. CC needs to adapt to different tactics and formations or he will be out of a job by Christmas

LAST MATCH

Although only a friendly, an absolute shambolic performance. No more to be said.

THE MATCH

So we start the new season on the road at Preston. We scraped a 1-1 draw last season thanks to Reach scoring in the last minute of injury time. We shall have nearly 6000 fans there on Saturday, praying for a 100% improvement on the Rangers game. They haven't done much in the transfer market bringing in 5 players but nobody who we would recognise. They have 3 ex Wednesday players in their ranks, Vermijl, Spurr and May. Be surprised if they mounted a playoff push and a mid table finish is probably the best they could achieve.

id go for 10 if i knew that DC would finaly move his arse and get rid of the xxxx !! we are having chairman trouble im afriad as the way things are being run at the moment stop with him alone ? the failure ... the kit ... the no signings ... and letting cc carry on ?
