Fixtures - Baggievicar - 14-06-2017

We should have a stack of points by the end of October. I think those months are crucial.
3 pm Saturday start at home can't be bad.

Looking forward to a trip back to the Hawthorns on the 24th Feb.

Home fans buy the beers.....is that right?

RE: Fixtures - Amelia Chaffinch - 14-06-2017

Are you ready to meet the Chaffinch on 24th Feb, then, Beefy & Co?

Yes, welcome, may get to see you in the fanzone, next to the stadium, pre match entertainment, beer, food and usually shows the live lunchtime game as well ........

I really hope to get tickets for this one. This is one for my bucket list .... to see Town at The Hawthorns. I only ever expected this to be in the cup or something, never actually thought we would be in the same league.

RE: Fixtures - BaggieMan - 14-06-2017

Not a bad opening few fixtures for us - Bournemouth, Burnley, Sjoke, Brighton, West Ham.
First really tough fixture is Arsenal away on 23 September followed by 'uddersfield away on 04 November..... Wink

RE: Fixtures - talkSAFT - 14-06-2017

I've been to Leeds Road 3 times, and Kirklees twice, I think.
Last time I went to Kirklees was late 90s (I think you stuffed us 4-1?):  West Yorkshire had had a drought, and there was a hosepipe ban, and everyone was sharing a bath etc etc!
When I went to the Gents at a pub on Leeds Road a load of Baggies fans had been, and they left all the taps running. Laugh Laugh

Thumb up I'll be there. Guest of a Huddersfield friend on the day.

Exactly what I was thinking, Vicar. In fact, we should be top of the table!
But then I realise we are West Bromwich Albion and who's in charge, therefore cue an England batting-like collapse and we'll be just above the relegation zone in October with a load of tough fixtures coming up. Angry

Did anyone notice Claude Puel got the sack at Southampton yesterday? Saints won only one of their last eight games and scored only one goal in their last six games. That's a better record than Albion's, yet TP still said Albion had had "a fantastic season", quote, unquote. xxxx me.

Let us pray.
