Efe 'open to offers' after all? - 0762 - 08-05-2017 From today's EEN Sport report, it looks like Efe could possibly stay on with Hibs if an agreed contract can be negotiated. He saw the fantastic Hibs support in celebratory mood at ER on Saturday and finally 'saw the light' lol! He seems to play well under Lenny's guidance and can easily adapt to a full back or mid position if required. IMO he'd be a good signing if Lenny 'pulls it off'! RE: Efe 'open to offers' after all? - hibeejim21 - 08-05-2017 He'd walk into most top flight clubs defences,i'd sign him up if he doesn't cost us too much in wages. Apparently keatings is signing a pre-contract with utd,he'd been told he was only going to be a squad player if he stayed on so fair enough. RE: Efe 'open to offers' after all? - hfcbounce - 08-05-2017 I'm with you jim big Efe would be in any teams line up in the SPL apart from celtic. Would be a great addition to HFC but as you say it will come down to money. A bit disappointed in wee Keatings not wanting to stay and fight for his place but fair play to him he scored a few important goals for us over the season. Maybe a sign of things to come at Easter Rd if he's leaving who's coming in ? RE: Efe 'open to offers' after all? - 0762 - 08-05-2017 Doolan to take his place? RE: Efe 'open to offers' after all? - hibeejim21 - 08-05-2017 His name has been mentioned 0762..... Looks like graham is being released too. Things are moving early, hopefully a sign we are getting our players in early rather than the last minute rush job from the previous summer. RE: Efe 'open to offers' after all? - hibeejim21 - 12-05-2017 Apparently we are close to wrapping up deals for ambrose and Anthony stokes in the next few days. RE: Efe 'open to offers' after all? - 0762 - 12-05-2017 Stokesy returning? That's a curious one - the Scottish Cup final 'legend' returns and that performance v Rangers is fondly remembered and indeed legendary but he'll have to do better in the Premiership than he did in the Scottish Championship for Hibs - IMO too 'hot n cold' and looked like he was picking and choosing matches where he'd put in an effort. RE: Efe 'open to offers' after all? - hibeejim21 - 12-05-2017 I regard stokes as a real step up in quality from keatings. Meanwhile Humphrey has left too. RE: Efe 'open to offers' after all? - edgie - 12-05-2017 Bomb sacre he started out with us looking excellent Then he just went, mistake after mistake, and if your playing centre half that's deadly Final straw was when we were playing Aberdeen 2 - 0 up and on comes effete for an injury. The Aberdeen fans cheered and the scored we almost blew it I hope he does well with you and gets off our wage bill RE: Efe 'open to offers' after all? - 0762 - 12-05-2017 (12-05-2017, 14:32)hibeejim21 Wrote: I regard stokes as a real step up in quality from keatings. Just confirmed Humphrey released with Grant Holt, Harris, Smith? and Dunsmore? Holty's release a wee bit of a disappointment but I think he wouldn't endure a full Premiership season too well anyway! |
