Hibs POTY award for the season? - 0762 - 19-03-2017 http://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/news/7363 The annual awards coming up again and the main POTY award will be a tricky call for many Hibs fans but I'd personally stick with Darren Mac sneaking it with sheer consistency. It's a pity he's not been recognised at international level but that may come later with a bit of luck. Re the YPOTY award, it will likely be picked up by John McGinn even though a long season seems to be taking it's toll on his consistent contribution for the 'cause'! RE: Hibs POTY award for the season? - hfc - 23-03-2017 Be interesting to see where Cummings figures here. After all without his goals we'd be struggling badly. Also a brief mentionĀ for the contribution of Commons. He didn't play many games but he certainly got us a bunch of points and scored some valuable goals when we needed him to. The winner at Falkirk was particularly pleasing. Just sayin! RE: Hibs POTY award for the season? - 0762 - 24-03-2017 The craic in Leith is Jason could be going to Sunderland at season end and McGinn is on Moyes' 'radar' as well. However, he's obviously gotta perform regardless and he's 'doing the biz' at the mo - long may it continue! Re Commons, he certainly fulfilled my expectations when Lenny got him on loan. He would've been a valuable addition to Hibs squad if Lenny could only have signed him up again but the 'money factor' was too much for Commons and Hibs to overcome! C'est la vie! RE: Hibs POTY award for the season? - hibeejim21 - 24-03-2017 No problem with commons at all,in all his games he "put in a shift" contributed and treated the club with respect. His professionalism is not in doubt. In fact if he was still here id go so far as to say wed probably be already champs. An old fashioned goal scoring midfielder "just what the doctor ordered". As for Jason he wont be going unless its for very good money. |
