A few new call ups for younger players like Cairney and Fraser with Celtic's Armstrong brought in but nothing to 'stir the imagination'. Our defence still looks dodgy although Charlie Mulgrew returns to the Scotland squad. I'd personally like to have seen Hibs Darren McGregor given a chance but it's not happening. Gogsy calling this match a 'must win' game and it certainly is or it's already all over 'bar the shouting' but sadly we have little chance of qualifying from this group anyway.

Yeah,shame about mcgregor. Oh well.
No problem with the new call ups,they are all good players. And rhodes is back in the squad tae.

Scotland booed off the pitch after the friendly match v Canada at ER Stadium last night by factions of Scotland fans - not the best of preparations preceding an important World Cup tie v Slovenia and a defence that is AGAIN far from impressive!
