Dundee United v Hibs, Fri 10 March, KO 7.45pm - 0762 - 06-03-2017

Well this is definitely one match at the 'business end' of the season that Hibs must seriously take on and try to win in order to impose their authority at the top of the Championship and push on! A huge Hibs away support heading north for this one and the players can't complain re a lack of a solid backing from the stands! I suspect Lenny will stick to his last starting line up with only one adjustment being the return of Darren Mac to bolster our defence alongside Efe Ambrose. C'mon Hibs - no slacking in this 'six pointer' of a match!

We have been really unlucky to lose 2 of the 3 league games we have lost this season. Especially the one at tannadice, where our luck was simply out.

One or two other fans were saying the day that a draw wouldn't be a disaster on friday. I'm not so sure,i think we need the 3 points here.

Darren Mac taking each game, one at a time, and focusing on attaining a positive result, preferably a win. As Lenny previously commented - each game is a cup final! We are currently in a 'good place' - top of the Championship, a Scottish Cup semi-final to contest again and the Hibs fans are in fine fettle. Lets not spoil the 'feel good factor' eh! Also I hope some of our remaining injured players eventually return before season end - any recovery and belated return will be a welcome bonus.

Just back and what a great result and a fab Hibs away support urging the boys onwards towards a solid victory and a precious 3 pts. A terrific winning goal by Jason who was our hero and a villain 'to boot' with two needless yellow cards - wtf and, as we all know, he's still a 'lad' who needs to grow up and cut out that kinda shit! Efe definitely Hibs MOTM with a sublime defensive performance - a great signing by Lenny! Thumb up Lastly who was the referee for this match????? Durnan should've been off in two instances for illegal use of his elbows - a shocker! A blatant United hand ball totally ignored with no card issued but a free kick awarded? Jason was 'downed' in their pen box right on HT! So why the f### did this clown reject an easy pen call like that one??? Jason's reaction said it all, even walking off the pitch at HT still 'arguing the toss' with Lenny chipping in too!! Even in the dying mins of this match, the guy was ignoring desperate blatant fouls on Hibs defenders as they were clearing the ball!!! Anyway, all forgotten as all is well - 3 pts 'in the bag' in spite of the shit refereeing!! Thumb up The Hibs players and fans' jubilant celebrations at the end of the match just signified the importance of this victory - United no longer unbeaten at Tannadice and fortunate to only lose by a single goal!! We are currently 'in a good place' and lets make the most of it eh! Smile

Brilliant performance and result. Not the greatest football match but we certainly showed we're not going to be bullied out of a game. GGTTH

Spot on with your assessment 0762 but you forgot to mention the deliberate hand ball by willow flood jumping up to handle the ball in clear veiw of the the ref but nothing was said or done complete total misjustice.

But HFC controlled the game big rocky never had a save to make all night and yes you called it big Efe outstanding.

Aye! A good point re the Flood hand ball - wtf was that all about?????? A simple consistent ref decision esp after Jason being 'done' on a similar hand ball offence!! I can only assume the guy is Flood's mate or a relative - absolutely bizarre and totally inconsistent by a guy who clearly knew the FIFA rule governing that type of hand ball offence!! However, as said previously - no damage done and we 'nailed them' with a deserved beating!! Thumb up Deeeeelighted!! Smile
