Love him or hate him I have to say that as British Ambassador to the USA, Mr Farage would be a better bet than Paul Gascoigne, Ant and/or Dec, and (more controversially) The Clangers.
Should we be allowed input into the new American Ambassador in London I think Eric Cartman would be an excellent representative of the Trump Regime.

And ironically Boris dismisses the suggestion in a parliamentary debate and recommends SIR Darroch (the guy just had to hold that royal honour - all part of the establishment recognition/status system that signifies everything that's wrong with our divided country!!) who is apparently 'doing a good job'!! Of course, he'll be 'one of the boys' - part of the 'club' eh!

And the threat from the far right in the Austrian election is over and a liberal govt wins the day and wins it well. So much for Farage's (and other brexiteers) comment when he predicted a 'sea of change' in Euro politics and RW politics 'coming to the fore' - common sense prevails for the majority of most populations! The same goes for the recent Italian referendum re the Italian constitution - a resounding NO and the Italian PM resigns but it was never an anti EU vote!
