So ,if we lose tomorrow as is likely,we will be 7 points from safety .
Surely the board will have to make a change before its too late .

If we lose we will need 38 points for safety, from 30 games - 12 wins 2 draws 16 defeats.

That rate of gathering points for a whole season would get a team almost 60 points in the season. It is mid-table form, no more than that. If we had a team it is very achievable.

What makes it difficult is that the players we have look as though they aren't worth much more than the position we currently occupy. It doesn't look like we are the division's great under-achievers does it?

As no manager, new or current, could bring in new players until the transfer window what worthwhile action might the board take after today's match?

We could sign Joey Barton. But you'll say we can't afford his wages, he's no good and he's disruptive ...... Looks like it's hello Division 2 where we can at least beat some of the teams, unless Danny can make us some silk purses.

If action from the top were always the answer Leyton Orient would be in the Championship instead of fighting to stay in the league. But I would like to see Danny get radical in an attempt to solve his own and our problems.

Barton as well as Ched Evans. Well you'd certainly be everybody's 2nd favourite team. Whistle

I agree with Pooch we are now 7 points from safety and that 2nd half was embarrassing time for Danny to walk away. Turning point in the game was Evans and Nolan going off injured.

I felt like throwing my laptop out the window especially when they got the fourth. I don't know what was more cringe the result or Sky Sports calling it a 'South Yorkshire Derby' maybe if they spent less time on Premier League football and actually looked at a map to find out where geographical locations are then they might not make mistakes.

Arent we part of the Sheffield city region ? So we may as well be in bloody Yarkshire.
Well you know my opinion on Wilson so I'll say no more other than to just hope Allen gets rid tomorrow for all our sakes.

RE: Wilson's Last Stand - spireitematt - 14-11-2016

They won't get rid of Danny unless he decides to walk because it will cost the club money to sack him and find a replacement.

RE: Wilson's Last Stand - bluepooch - 14-11-2016

Ive never know a club not sack a manger because they cant afford it.We sacked Saunders didnt we ?
They always find a way.If we keep losing the crowds will drop even lower and that will be an even bigger loss of revenue.I say the club should cut their losses and get rid now to give us a chance of staying up .Otherwise we are facing certain relegation under Wilson with still over half the season to go .

RE: Wilson's Last Stand - Devongone - 15-11-2016

"just hope Allen gets rid tomorrow"

And he did. Maybe of what should have been specified.
