Ayr Utd v Hibs, Sat 5 Nov, KO 3.00pm - 0762 - 02-11-2016

Well it's 'back on the road' and an element of payback for that ludicrous home result/loss v the same opposition, compliments of another iffy SFA referee! Lenny saying today that he wants our players to add a 'touch of gloss or panache' to their performances esp when we're dominating matches - I'll take the 3 pts one way or the other! We'll see if that additional positivity can materialise in the upcoming fixtures. I'd hope that the manager opts for the same line up - as 'settled' a Hibs team as poss and let them get on with pushing on at the top of the Championship in front of another big turnout by Hibs away supporters.

Spot on 0762. Any win will do, glossy or not!. Ayr will be up for it again to try and put a double over us.

Hopefully the players will respond and bring back the 3 points. Cannot see Cummings getting a start again but NL has surprised me before so will have to wait and see.

'mon Hibs

Cummings now seems to be reduced to a "play only in exceptional circumstances" role. I'm looking for a forceful Hibs performance without him to leave the rest chasing us. Any win will do but a notice of intent to dominate this Championship would be better still.

I don't look at the Hibs team that plays but is Cummings dropped??

"Rested", fred. He'll spend so much time on the bench, he'll be known as The Judge.

So he not started last couple of games??

Aye! This is an opportune moment to keep our positive form 'ticking over' and extend a winning run in the process. Forget that loss to them  in that game at ER - Hibs were 'streets ahead' of this Ayr side and I hope the players realise that fact and continue where they left off by beating them! IMO 'tanking' them in style would be a bonus and an opposition side is definitely gonna be at the wrong end of a Hibs cuffing at some point! As for Jason? He'll be a forgotten man at this rate if he doesn't 'get his act together' and at least try to contribute in the best way that he can!

No Fred, word is Lennon is giving him a "jag" to try and get a better performance out of him when he does come back in. With Keatings out most Hibs fans thought he would be back in last week but didn't even get on as a sub......mind you the way he was larking about doing his "warm up" I'm not really surprised.......attitude Jason, attitude....

Ayr have done better than I thought in this league and are proving to be tricky opponents. We have been playing pretty well away from home this season so far i think so hopefully we will get the 3 points.

Doubt Cummings will feature again any time soon. His body language last week warming up etc told a tale.

He was told goals weren't enough,he had to put in a shift for the team and he hasn't so he can have no complaints. Other boys have came in and got the goals.

I honestly think NL is just trying to make Cummings a better, more valuable player. His ego has always been known to get out of control, so i think this is just the managers way of trying to rein him in a bit. Its up to him how he responds but if he is being a dick about it i can see him getting punted January.
