it`s dying a slow death - Arcane Astral Aeons - 25-10-2016 no not our season but this site very little activity very little postings would hate to see this forum go the way of previous ones but unless you guys start putting aside your petty differences and start posting again we won`t have a forum to post on we all have our own issues but aint this the place to air them? as i said unless you lot start posting again we/you are going to lose a good site and going to lose a lot a good banter c`mon guys lets not let this site die RE: it`s dying a slow death - GlassEyedBomber - 25-10-2016 #pulisout RE: it`s dying a slow death - baggietrousers - 25-10-2016 I only visit site occasionally now, the main reason being I have lost all interest in a club that lacks ambition and produces the most dire 'football' I can recall ever seeing. I've gone from season ticket holder to preferring a game of golf at the weekend in the space of 18 months and wont be back until there is significant change. You can criticize and have a go at me as much as you like, you can say I am no real supporter! well I'm not any more, but I was a season ticket holder for 40 years since I was 13 years old, and remained so even when I moved to Ireland 30 years ago spending a fortune on travel every other weekend. I doubt I'm the only one who has had enough and I'm sure many more will join me in giving up on this dross being served up week in week out. RE: it`s dying a slow death - Worldclassalbion - 25-10-2016 I'm the same as Baggietrousers, lost interest in our club...my season ticket sits in the draw at home and will come out when PULIS is gone and not until then. I only had one this year in the hope he would get the boot but he's still here killing the club I love and to be honest the crap on here if someone disagrees with you is crazy.....................a lot of it is fighting talk and there would be a few black eyes if the things said weren't from behind a keyboard. Who's fault is this......................................TONY 'DIVISIVE' PULIS, The sooner this man goes the better for ALL RE: it`s dying a slow death - 4evaabaggie - 25-10-2016 I can not argue with any points on this thread, I have worked in London for thirty years, that all ends next week. I have supported Albion since my mother remarried in about 1972, I don't get to many games and so when I do I want a day to enjoy, the whole of English football has been killed by the premier league ...... the greed of a few clubs wanting to break away, a sport so heavy stacked to favour the few and the rest to scared to loose because you have to be in the greed league. This has strangled the life out of ordinary fans ....... I used to trawl thorough our fixtures in July to find two or three games that I could get up to, I would be in the ground when the gates opened, soaking up the atmosphere, now it's like a morgue, I haven't even glanced at the fixtures, and to be totally fair it's not all Pulis's fault, this started before him and will continue he after him. Where is the glory in winning trophies when you have made it uncompetitive. Where would the glory be for Lewis Hamilton in winning the world title if he raced his F1 car against me in my 1.6 diesel Ford Focus. And there in lies the problem. My solution ...... the bottom fourteen of the premier league get relegated / breakaway, form a football league division one with the top eight in the championship, play 42 games a season, the remaining championship teams join the top league one teams to form division 2, 22 teams 42 games, remaining league one join top league two to form division 3, 24 teams 46 games, league two becomes division 4, 24 teams 46 games, made up with national league sides. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Man Ute and Tottenham rot in hell in their stagnant six team league. Hash tag .. just saying. RE: it`s dying a slow death - Baggievicar - 25-10-2016 TQE, it's not so much people's petty differences, though the occasional bout of bitching does put me off, but (as others have said) it's just what's happening with the club. I struggle to think of anything either interesting or positive to post about. Really grateful to Stairs for getting the site going and I just hope we get something soon to enthuse us again. It WILL happen, but when? |
