I still think the Blunts will be right up in the top six come the end of the season but your start to the season should give you confidence, and it would be an ideal time to break your winless streak!! Good luck!! I'm hoping they are ![]() ![]() RE: Match Preview: Sheffield United - spireitematt - 02-10-2014 I have a feeling that we will beat United on Saturday. United should be up there at the end of the season and so will the likes of Peterborough and Bristol City. RE: Match Preview: Sheffield United - bluepooch - 04-10-2014 Well that was the most comfortable 3-2 I've ever seen.It was 3- 0 really. We totally dominated them for 80% of the game and I believe the ref should scratch off their two goals due to the fact that we had a rookie keeper in who gifted them the goals .Made it look closer than it actually was . RE: Match Preview: Sheffield United - Devongone - 05-10-2014 I felt sorry for the young keeper, but if he's going to make the grade what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. They were both errors from not even high levels of Sunday football, produced by nerves I think. Poor sod. He'll be miserable when he should be celebrating. I do think Daniel Jones is off his head though. I've never seen the moves he made to get Higdon sent off outside Strictly Come Dancing and The Very Hungry Caterpillar ........ however bad the tackle. Embarrassing. And I saw the goal Yeovil conceded against the Dons, two minutes after their Centre Back had gone off. I've rarely seen such a lazy, not-my-job piece of defending as Nathan Smith produced, watching the ball float over him into an area he should have been defending after the dismissal. I still like him, but I saw in that moment a bit of attitude that must have rubbed Paul Cook up the wrong way ......... RE: Match Preview: Sheffield United - spireitematt - 05-10-2014 He's become an internet sensation with him jumping like a fish. RE: Match Preview: Sheffield United - Devongone - 05-10-2014 I wish the FA would charge him with bringing the game into disrepute. It was a wonderful game to win. We have the top goal scorer in the whole country. But we couldn't sign Country Joe, so we got the fish. RE: Match Preview: Sheffield United - spireitematt - 05-10-2014 A few people have said that about charging him for bringing the game into disrepute they were mainly Man United, Chelsea and Sheff United fans who have said that though. I didn't go yesterday as I couldn't get a ticket. I read that Sheffield United fans had been buying tickets in E1 and E2 online and over the phone and they were meant for home supporters, but the club found out about this and cancelled them so they couldn't get in the ground. I read on Bob's board that there were a few Sheffield United fans in the home end and that a United fan piped up in the West Stand and the result ended up with a bloody nose. IMO I did think it was odd that the club was selling tickets for yesterdays match online and over the phone. The United fans are pretty pissed that they had there tickets cancelled. http://www.s24su.com/forum/index.php?threads/warning-to-fans-from-chesterfield-fc.36229/ RE: Match Preview: Sheffield United - spireitematt - 07-10-2014 Tommy Lee's red card has been overturned and he will be able to play in the match against Bristol City on Saturday. |
