Still early days I know but I've been banging on about him for a while and another good reserves win at Mansfield outlining his tremendous potential as a coach and future manager of the club and I know they have made some big gaffes but give the club credit for extending his contract with a coaching role.
We need to tie him down for longer as Im sure although Wilson and Morgs will be pleased to see him doing well with the reserves they must see him as a threat to their jobs perhaps not now but in the not too distant future.

I always thought Turner brought Ritchie here to edge Paul Cook out, and I didn't think he could contribute much on the field either, but he can still do a job on the field, & off it I'm sure he is a potential manager who'd be a role model for any young pro'. He's reinvented his game several times in every position except keeper, he seems respected wherever he goes and now his team is winning for him.
Certainly Morgan must see him as a threat. Long-term I'd love to see a decent and loyal man like Danny Wilson remain with the club and move upwards and yes his replacement would be the man I never wanted, who I now rather admire.

As I see it he puts pressure on the management team and if he is as good as I think he is then he is a ready made replacement, certainly for Morgs .If things don't go well this season I can see him being brought in as caretaker. If things do go well then nothing needs to change immediately but we do need to tie him down as the more the reserves win the more people will take notice and he probably will start applying for other management jobs as well.
