Reuben Reid has decided to leave Plymouth. Only seven goals last season, but then he didn't play much. I've some doubts about him mentally, but when he's up and firing he's one of the best strikers in the lower leagues.
I'm guessing Sheridan will go for him at Notts County.
Maybe we'd be overdosing on forwards when we need keepers, but I could be convinced he has 20 goals in him for a club that could keep him happy.

Their skipper Curtis Nelsons rejected a contract as well .Is he a centre half ?

Why would we want Lge 2 players who don't seem to be doing much at that level? Surely better going non league for hungry young players.
Personally I am happy with the squad as it is. Baring too many injuries we should compete well.

Dancing the reason i asked is because Danny said he was looking for a centre half and Nelson is only 23 and captain.Plymouth want to keep him so sounds like a good prospect .He may be destined for higher than us though

Plymouth are a much bigger club than us so if they cant keep him I doubt we would be able to compete. Having said that they didn't exactly set the world alight in the playoffs.

The reasons to look at lower league players are first, that's what we might afford and second higher league players would be on their way down and getting worse. Orient signed eight Championship players and fell from a play-off position in Division One to relegation.
Plymouth is a much bigger club than us, but they don't have a huge playing budget. They're gambling and very strangely - made no bid for Jamille Matt, who was a success on loan, had to let Reid go, signed Jordan Slew and David Goodwillie.
