Well we'll see what players leave Hibs and who will be signed up by Stubbsy. He has already commented that he 's got three players in mind to strengthen Hibs 1st team squad. So we'll see how it develops in the weeks ahead. I'm sure he'll be wanting to conclude this business as quick as he can and it'll be interesting to see what he does.

Heard david goodwillie's name being mentioned. Not sure how i feel about it.
Henderson would like to stay on....but i guess that becomes brendan rodgers call now. Doubt if he will want the lad spending another year in the championship.

Aye hibeejim! Hendo's position is a bit of a conundrum! He really enjoyed himself after the cup final like any rejoicing hibee! It was the same on Sunday during the parade and later on in the evening he was in one of the ER pubs partying with Hibs fans and a number of other Hibs players - what a night!! I think Stubbs' influence is a big factor in this good relationship and I don't visualise Rodgers playing Hendo regularly for the Hoops but you never know - he could well end up on the subs bench awaiting his chance. He's a young lad and I think he still needs time to strengthen up and mature properly.
Re David Goodwillie, this would be a curious signing, if it happened, and I think that's a big IF! He is another maverick striker who appears to have 'lost his way', after showing great potential a few years ago, and possibly needs a guiding manager like Stubbsy to 'straighten him out'.

Now that we've won a major trophy it will encourage players and the manager to stay at Easter Rd and help us fight to get the championship title.
HFC have had more than their fair share of players and managers coming and going in years gone by maybe it's time to set things in stone. As for stokes & Henderson another year on loan would be perfect yes celtic will be looking at what they've done but I feel Brenden Rogers will want to spend money and bring in a few big names so that might favour us remember rankers are in the SPL so celtic will want to blow them away.
I'd also like to Gunnerson brought back in we've got a decent squad most of them still got 1year left on their contracts maybe more but I feel this is where the fans have got their part to play and come out and buy season tickets to help AS budget everything is looking good lets hope we go forward and not take any negative steps back the way

I can't see this happening hibeejim if officials of Hibs FC have their way and the main reasons for that intransigence are:- 1. The disgust re Rangers failed incursion, and antagonistic shenanigans, on Scotty Allan at the beginning of the season 2. Their latest shameful 'spin', and the lack of contrition/comment re the shit behaviour of their fans during the day and night of Saturday 21 May, after the cup final!!
This position reminds me of the Colin Stein affair that took place in the late 1960s. It's a long time ago but during that period, soon after Hibs epic confrontation with Revie's Leeds United side in the Fairs Cities Cup, I'm sure he was being monitored by Everton(?) and a deal was eventually brokered with 'the toffees' to transfer him out to Goodison Park. The deal fell through and the main culprit for this failure turned out to be Stein himself who, it transpired later, declared himself to be a hun!! He'd never said a thing re that affiliation during his successful period at Easter Road and I can recall that whole saga left 'a very bad taste in the mouths' of many Hibs board members and fans although the club did receive £100k from GRFC! That story is slightly different but there is a similarity in the circumstances where Hibs do not wanna sell to this kinda footie club!!
