Finally the big secret is out and the 'Special One' will take control at Manchester United.

£5m in compensation paid to LVG. A further £4m (if you believe it) for Jose Mourinho to wait all season for this moment. £15m a year salary plus a tidy £200m in a transfer kitty for him to play football manager with.

Cream on cream on cream as far as the football merry go round is concerned - I picked the wrong career!!!

So, the big question is, will JM be a success. It's much easier to be successful when you have a brand name like Man United (or Chelsea) and a huge pot of cash to attract the best players. But, thanks to Leicester, we know that some managers can make a team perform without being able ti paint over crack by splashing the dosh.

You will have read into this, no doubt, that I am not a fan of Mr Moanio and his flashy arrogance and I am very keen to see him fail but what do you all think?

Depends what is rated as success. And at Man United that success is the premier league and the champions league titles.
So no.

He will get their defence sorted, after that it's all about who he can pursuade to bring in during the summer but there is every chance the style of play won't improve and that seems the biggest problem their fans had with LVG. But they won't lose as much under Mourhinio, on that basis and the fact they have no distraction with Europe I think they may be installed as favorites for the title and I would put that past Jose!!!
