Stokesy trying to justify his current form on the pitch? - 0762 - 13-05-2016 http://www.hibernianfc.co.uk/news/6495 As previously debated, Stokesy 'puts in a shift' alright but should be more effective in the opposition box rather than having a roving role from wing to inside forward to pen box striker!! We need to score goals and should be scoring far more goals from the huge number of scoring opps that Hibs are creating! Our strikers have not scored since Keatings' 'hat trick' v QOS and that is unacceptable. Stokes is another striker who could've 'sealed an impressive win' on Tues night when he ran on to a great McGinn through pass in the 2nd half and amazingly 'skied the baw' over the Falkirk crossbar and the onrushing goalie - no calmness whatsoever and that was a 'snip' of a goal scoring chance!! He is saying he'll be 'banging the goals in' but when? We need to be well supported by our strikers now and that means goals being scored from the numerous chances that are being created!!! GGTTH RE: Stokesy trying to justify his current form on the pitch? - hibeejim21 - 13-05-2016 An inverness style performance the night would be lovely. RE: Stokesy trying to justify his current form on the pitch? - supercooper - 13-05-2016 Aye but the pressure is just too much for the wee lamb. It's easier to win the league than the playoffs. RE: Stokesy trying to justify his current form on the pitch? - 0762 - 13-05-2016 Who is the wee lamb like? Can't take a scolding for trying to perpetuate a debate into a negative one at every opportunity and you continue regardless into another topic with the same mentality! What a joke! If you have nothing constructive to say, that is relative to the content of the OP, then GO AWAY FFS!! GIVE IT A REST! RE: Stokesy trying to justify his current form on the pitch? - hibeejim21 - 13-05-2016 Aye but I don't care about hibs.....aye but....aye but....might watch the night....dont care really....aye but....qed....bigots..... You're not homophobic at all either. ![]() I very rarely drink and I'm certainly not the type to take my kids to the pub. Might be your sort of thing, but it's not mine. So, if meeting with anybody before or after a game it's going to be somewhere that safely accommodates my children. That'll be a cafe or similar. Obviously in your world of twisted no doubt Dickensian morality my choice of venue with my kids makes me the target for homophobic slurs. In my world it makes me a decent parent. Now keep up the good work. RE: Stokesy trying to justify his current form on the pitch? - 0762 - 13-05-2016 (13-05-2016, 18:42)hibeejim21 Wrote: Paignton was on to something.
