It makes it clearer for Refs to see players numbers
- so they can book them for diving when it's an obvious penalty
- so they can target specific players they don't like
- so they don't send off McAuley instead of Dawson

It was a FA directive that teams with stripes to make names and numbers more visible for next season to avoid mistaken identities so Albion agreed the template wit Adidas early,.......
The directive has now been moved back to the 2017/18 season since then
Oh well
