Most Dirty Club in the League - Salopbaggie - 07-03-2016

Oh well, at the moment we are officially the club with the worst discipline record in the Premiership, both League games and also "all games".

We are running at the moment at 68 cautions, 3 reds and a total of 306 discipline points. This compares to 276 for the Vile with the second worst record and 176 for Arsenal who have the best.

At least we are top of one league. :-) (smileys still not working)

The problem nowadays is that a yellow is issued for a lot of nothingness.

If we went back 10 years, or certainly 20, Yesterday penalty  for Liverpool and Mata's two yellow cards would never have existed. Plus Benteke would have never fallen over as he would never have considered it and if he had the papers and players would have scorned him.

Now, disciplinary records are not really what they suggest.

If the opposition have the ball for 66% of the time you'll statistically commit 16% more fouls than the average team.
