FA Charge - Dingle-Dingle - 15-01-2016 Chelsea and West Brom charged by FA for players' conduct....... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/35326552 DD ![]() ![]() RE: FA Charge - aries22 - 16-01-2016 I think referees ought to face similar charges and panels. And their useless assistants and the redundant fourth officials too. Question to referee. You sent off a player who made a perfectly good tackle, and incorrectly awarded a penalty. Answer - Erm. Really sorry they lost and got relegated as a result. Question to assistants. What is your actual job? Answer - to stick my flag up in agreement with whatever decision the ref makes. Question - You don't make you own decisions? Answer - Me? Make a decision? Question to fourth official. What do you actually contribute? Answer - I am there to look official, I hold an electronic board, press a few buttons, and hold it above my head, and I also tell the stadium announcer to tell the crowd how much time I'm adding on. Question - Don't you think that, between them, the dugouts and the stadium announcer could do your job? They always did before. Answer - Erm... RE: FA Charge - BaggieMan - 16-01-2016 I take it you're not too keen on officials Aries ! ![]() I do agree that many of them are more interested in demonstrating their power and become 'Little Hitlers' in the same way that council officials, traffic wardens and the like, see themselves. It's a human trait of the little normally insignificant man and will only change with the introduction of technology for contentious decisions. ![]() RE: FA Charge - Stairs - 16-01-2016 Sorry, started posting on the match thread for this. Officials on the day are one thing but for them subsequently decide both clubs should be charged is crazy. If we get very similar fines (if we get fined at all) it will be disgraceful. That imbecile, Costa, is the only person who should be under the microscope! RE: FA Charge - drewks - 16-01-2016 Surely the actual charge of "failing to control your players", made AFTER the game, is an obvious statement that the bloody referee failed to deal with some serious incidents DURING the game - and it's therefore him that should be under investigation?? ![]() |
