Doom and gloom - GlassEyedBomber - 20-09-2014 Now I know there's been a few worrying displays to warrant the 5 or so sack Al threads but if you think back to the first two games we were relatively happy. Yes, Swansea annihilated us but they've done it to most teams they've played this season, they even put a couple past Chelsea who look unstoppable. Now onto Everton and we all know first hand that Lukaku was capable of that. I think the two very early (one unfortunate) Olsson mistakes set the precedent for what was to follow in the two games. Crowd gets restless, starts hurling abuse at players, players think f that I'm hiding for the next 80 odd minutes and we're effectively a player short. Now, I'm not defending what has happened, just thinking we may need to chill and not hit the panic button just yet. If we can get 10-12 points from our next 6 fixtures that would be a decent return me thinks. If Brunty plays can we try and encourage him as he sometimes gets abused unfairly imo and no player wants to play with fans screaming that they're sh*t. Anyway back to real reason for the thread (kind of just went off on one) what the frigg will happen to QPR if they go down and are unable to participate in the football league? RE: Doom and gloom - Dingle-Dingle - 20-09-2014 They are a London club. The FA will not allow it. DD ![]() ![]() RE: Doom and gloom - 4evaabaggie - 20-09-2014 Albion fans are restless at the moment, to be fair, with good reasons the last 18 months have hardly been a shining light of attacking / defensive excellence. Most are unsure if AI is the right man for us, needs time ..... but not to much so as to jeopardise our Premier league status. However there are many clubs out there in a far worse state than us and I believe we have the squad the ability and the fans to come good this season. I would still rather be us, true, loyal, fair and friendly than many other teams. Anyway I am running off to Majorca for a week, will miss the spuds, Hell in the cup and Burnley next sunday ....... here's hoping for six points and progression into the next round ...........
