3 games to save himself? - Aldridge - 20-09-2014 Hello - I am a new poster but a very ancient Albion fan. Liquidator every match in the 1970s era etc. Unfortunately AI has probably only got 3 games to save himself. At Spurs he has got nothing to lose. Play wingers and go for them. I think Spurs are susceptible defensively. That leaves Hull in mid week. Play a strong team for god sake and the Liquidator! A win against Hull sets us up nicely against Burnley. Play the Liquidator again.....and Sess! Think I might change my name to The Aldridge Liquidator. If AI fails where do we go? I think Derek Mc Innes could do a job! RE: 3 games to save himself? - Stairs - 20-09-2014 welcome - my nan could do a better job just this minute RE: 3 games to save himself? - Squirrel Regis - 20-09-2014 Burnley is a must win. Can't see us getting anything at Spurs but with the right team selection we should get a win against a Burnley side who are weak up front. RE: 3 games to save himself? - Zinman - 20-09-2014 This weekend is key for me, not necessarily the result but the team he selects. Apparently we have a fully fit squad so he has the opportunity to play some of the flair players, Gamboa, Sess, Varela, Blanco........If he chooses to play it safe with the same sterile tactics of last week then I see no hope with Irvine in charge. RE: 3 games to save himself? - Squirrel Regis - 20-09-2014 Agree with you Zinman. Pick the right team and let's give it a go. If the new signings aren't fit then surely you start with them, give them 60mins and take em off when they tire ? How else do they get match fit ??? Cos it ain't gonna happen sitting on our bench. Let's see how the NEW Albion play not the left overs from last seasons debacle. ? RE: 3 games to save himself? - silverbaggie - 20-09-2014 Referring back to the heading of this post - I wouldn't give him that much time. Agree totally with squirrel. If they're not yet match fit play them for an hour. Another sterile selection and performance and I think most Baggie's patience will be stretched to the limit. Agree 100%.......play them from the start instead of 20 mins at the end, that way we may actually have a decent lead before we need to make subs ![]() RE: 3 games to save himself? - 4evaabaggie - 20-09-2014 (20-09-2014, 12:17)Worldclassalbion Wrote:(20-09-2014, 11:04)Squirrel Regis Wrote: Agree with you Zinman. |
