James Morrison !! - Beefy 1965 - 11-01-2016 Is out of contract in the Summer and the club have not approached him about a new one, His message to other clubs ...... "There’s no contract extension as far as I know, so if you’re looking, I’m a free in the summer!” I'm amazed by this ![]() http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/810705450?-11200:789:0 RE: James Morrison !! - BaggieMan - 11-01-2016 Mozza has been a great servant to the club as well as proving invaluable over the years and still is today I would be very disappointed with the club if he was allowed to walk away until the time is right. RE: James Morrison !! - baggietrousers - 11-01-2016 May not always be one of the first on my team sheet, but he would always be in my first team squad. When he's good he's very good. Huge mistake if we let him go. Is that what you mean Beefy - amazed about the club or that JM has said this? ![]() RE: James Morrison !! - DanTheSmethwickMan - 11-01-2016 Be surprised if we do let him go. Especially how we've kept the other long serving players in Olsson and Brunt, who are no where near as good as Jimmy on his day RE: James Morrison !! - talkSAFT - 11-01-2016 He's a player who's exactly what the Club wants. If we're not getting the best out of his ability that's probably because the Coaches are holding back his talent. He's 30 this year, so I can't see HIM wanting to move on. Give him a good deal and he'll stay. He looks fit enough for a couple of years yet. I cannot believe we would let him go on a 'free' let alone let him go at all. I'm amazed we aren't offering him a new contract. Yet again another ludicrous decision by the decision makers and let's be honest over the last frw years we have been a bit of a joke ffs RE: James Morrison !! - Tibby Baggie - 13-01-2016 Being reported by several sources that Pulis has said that "four or five" players are in contract talks, and Jimmy will be one of them. As much as I rate the bloke, been a good servant of the club etc etc, we cannot keep handing out massive lucrative contracts to players that are approaching the end of their careers. Would Jimmy accept a short term deal? I'd imagine Morrison is on easily £40k+ a week and gave his "come and get me" plea to other clubs to cover his own interests which I completely understand. I also understand the club saying "you want a new contract, continue to earn one and we'll take it from there". The same goes for Sess, Olsson etc. RE: James Morrison !! - Dingle Bells - Dingle Bells - 13-01-2016 Its not just Mozza I believe Gmac, Sess and Big Vic's Contracts are also up in the summer. Gmac and Sess would be massive losses, unsure on Big Vic on thou. On his day and fully fit hes a top player but thats once a season. |
