F.A Cup - Arcane Astral Aeons - 09-01-2016 apparently it`s now called The Emirates F.A Cup sorry but i`m old school and the F.A Cup should be just that hope this next sentence gets passed by the mods on here bollocks to the sponsors when i were a lad the old FA cup was just that teams wouldn`t play weakened sides it wasn`t heard of now what do we have? having watched the Exeter/Liverpool game earlier apart from Benteke i had never heard of the rest of the Liverpool side and the Exeter fans really must feel cheated cos i daresare the ticket prices for the game were expensive if these so called big clubs are going to field weakened sides then surely if they progress then they should be forced to stick with the same team they fielded in rd3/4 etc not suddenly decide to field a stronger side should they be drawn against another premier league big side just my opinion RE: F.A Cup - drewks - 09-01-2016 Well, it's unfortunately all about money now, and the huge payments of the PL make the FA Cup a mere distraction for most PL clubs.
