Not going to go as far as saying it is a must win, its far from it in terms of the season, but after saturdays result i think for the teams confidence at home then it is a must win. We need to put 4 past them to show we can actually play this style.

Be interesting to see how we go if huws and wells are both out. I'd be tempted to through bojaj or one of the other youngsters from the dev or u18's in especially up front. That youthful exuberance may be something we need. Also think we need holmes on the bench, changes the direction and speed, him and miller coming on could work, providing miller does his job and doesnt come on having paddys at the ref

Nice pic Snoots, did you get out of bed early to take that one from your seat? Smile Thumb up

If we ever needed 3 points, we need them Tuesday. Got a few days off so stopping up for this one to see what a Tuesday night match at home looks like. I have some vague memories .. . .  .

i can see one or two changes being made for this one. maybe even a change in formation. can see bunn being brought back in , maybe paterson or Wells dropped , the quicker we get Ward and Lynch up to snuff the better

This for me is a must win, we lose this and all the good hard work we put in against Sheff Wed,Boro and Brum is down the pan and we have to start again.

Not sure what team he'll go with but I'm certain we'll see at least two changes from the side on Saturday

Just a quick heads up for those that have a interest in our U18 team. They play Chelsea away tomorrow night in the youth cup and its live on Chelsea TV, usually a few decent streams available to watch it on

A great three points and two off our negative goal difference. Also delighted that Miller scored: the flak that guy has taken!

It wasnt great, we kept going all game and energy was good just our final pass astray and created very litttle. Rovrum huffed n puffed and had a couple of chances one hitting the post just after going 2 up and steer made an excellent save with his legs otherwise he came for crosses well and commanded his area all night.

Carayol, who up until tonight appeared to be some loanee journeyman going thru his paces, started off brightly ran at defenders then unleashed a 25 yarder out of nothing, 2nd half he was the outlet to run the channels when Scanz went off, a 2nd game where the defence had the measure of him. Hoggy more influential in the holding role, even Peter Pan had some skips leaps and flew through the air a couple of times, then tired and it was nearly his bedtime, Trolley had a strong 20 mins he has learned to track back and is effective with his jinks against a tiring defence.

Bet Lynch played a blinder, helps Huddy alongside as we needed to be at it as their front line was bright and plenty of support from the wings. Ish scored, running free when it appeared their defender let the ball through on the half way line, any encouragement of him can only be good for his confidence.

Danny Ward did very little playing up front or just behind, reminded me why we got rid.

The S.Yorkshire lot filled the 1/2 away end, maybe the reduced prices enticed them to make the journey many arriving a good 10 mins in, NSL made constant noise and by 80 mins the whole ground was happy clapping along.

3 points were the minimum after Saturday, never got to vent my anger after Brizzle due to social events getting in the way of my suicidal Saturday night tendancies , so delighted we did enough without being spectacular this evening.

Doubt the crowd was anywhere near 12,500 10 max, perhaps I can employ whoever does the counting to do my numbers at work?

Roll on London Town saturday.

this game exemplifies the difference between Wagner and Powell.
this result was expected and the performance acceptable
under powell the result would have been a surprise and the performance a rarity

A good night's work there. Loving the squad rotation policy. Great usage of the subs and they all seem to make an impact in the game. Though Duane played well, some fantastic passes to set up the early chances.
Man of the match was Carayol, but Lynch must've been close. Really good to have him back.
And a nice touch at the end, Wagner coming on the pitch and making a show of sending the players over to applaud the fans in the South Stand.
