Not many people like John Carver but the guy wore his heart on his sleeve throughout and after the game, maybe not a good manager but certainly passionate
Massive thumbs up to Jonas yesterday, looked very much the classic winger with a perfectly weighted cross for the first goal and a long range effort for the second

Yes, it was good t see him performing well and getting some column inches for football reasons!! As for Carver, he is a bit of a joke really!! Not a manager at all and after some of the comments he has made I will be surprised if he gets offered any other positions!!

Been confirmed now McClaren sacked as Derby manager
rumour grapevine was that he was waiting for dismissal before taking the Newcastle job....we shall wait and see!
Looks like Roberto Di`Matteo been sacked by Schalke 04 also, promotion with WBA and champions league with Chelsea perhaps Newcastle or WHU would be interested
