RIP Howard Kendall, who was a cracking player and manager.
But... I know the BBC don't give a monkey's chuff about the Baggies, but here's from their piece on HK:
He played in the 1968 FA Cup-wining side at the age of 17 ....
And there was me clinging to the fantasy that I can actually remember us winning a trophy.

I had the pleasure of knowing Howard when he was with Blues - he used to use my Local. Really nice, unassuming bloke.
