The Cod have sacked North End legend Graham Alexander after last nights hammering at Gillingham, personal view not surprised about this as he appears to be a very defensive manager. Playing one up front at home has also angered supporters. No disrespect to him if he ever gets North Ends job we would bore people to death. Good luck Alex in your next job as long as it is not at Deepdale.

There seems to be a bunch of managers around at the moment who are very "safe"!! They will create teams that are hard to beat but who find it difficult to win as well. They defend first at all costs and go forward in small numbers making sure the defense stays solid. They will leave your team mid-table, maybe flirt with relegation but generally not get near the top!! So if you own a team that is maybe above its normal position then hire the likes of Alexander, Stuart Gray, Tony Pulis or Nigel Clough!!!
