R.I.P. Ron Springett - silverbaggie - 13-09-2015
What a shame but, what a goalkeeper he was along with his brother Peter.
Not sure which Springett brother it was that was on the receiving end of Bomber's best ever goal but, Ron was one very good goalkeeper.
My condolences to his family.

(If you tap on the link in Silverbaggies post above you will see Ron holding
a REAL football, not one of these tippy tappy modern ones that anybody
can stop with their little finger. If Giles or Charlton got hold of a REAL
football it took a great keeper like Ron to stop it)
