For videos, just copy and paste the necessary URL from YouTube into this line of code: [video=youtube]DeleteThisBitAndPasteVideoAddressHere[/video]

For pictures, I use a third-party site like http://postimage.org/; just upload your picture onto there and then copy and paste the line of code marked "Hotlink For Forums (1)" from the list beneath the picture, into your post on here.

Silly question here Skad. I have old photos stored on computer. When I try to upload them somewhere I am told the format is too big to upload. Need to be smaller than 4MB and in JPG PNG GIF or TIFF. WTF is that? And more importantly can it be done??

Whenever I get a message like that I open the photo in Microsoft Paint and use the "resize" option on there to reduce the size of the picture by 50%.  Still looks the same when you view it, but the file size is much smaller as a result.
