The Forthcoming Campaign - Arcane Astral Aeons - 30-07-2015 as many of you know(or don`t,or don`t really care) i have been posting as far back as the old bbc 606 site(remember that?) and have always tried to post on the positive side regarding the Albion i`m not going to change now so i fully expect us to stay afloat again in fact i`m so confident i predict we will be mid table and perfectly safe in January. so safe in fact that we won`t even be worrying about the "R" word all season RE: The Forthcoming Campaign - silverbaggie - 30-07-2015 Don't worry Quantum, as Baggies supporters we are bound to find something to worry about. It might not be the 'R' word but, (alphabetically) it might well be the 'S' word or the 'T' word, or even the 'U' word That is to say the 'signings' word, the 'Tony please stay' word and the 'useless buggers' word. Just as long as we don't have any cause to worry about the 'V' word (you know who ![]() RE: The Forthcoming Campaign - Squirrel Regis - 01-08-2015 A season with no relegation worries ? That would do me just fine. ![]() RE: The Forthcoming Campaign - drewks - 02-08-2015 (01-08-2015, 23:35)Squirrel Regis Wrote: A season with no relegation worries ? Well said Squirrel ![]() RE: The Forthcoming Campaign - 4evaabaggie - 02-08-2015 The trouble with that, and it is not likely to change anytime soon, we are not rich enough, big enough or strong enough to have the thrill or excitement of battling for the top four or even Europa league, shy of a cup run, the only thing to test or jangle our nerves is a relegation fight. We will become a mediocre mid table team that grows stagnant and eventually after boring season after boring season we will do a fulham or Charlton, forget how to fight and end up going down. Or worse become a dirty vile, boring and beneath contempt. I do not wish for that RE: The Forthcoming Campaign - Squirrel Regis - 07-08-2015 4evabaggie, Whoah there tiger ! What about finishing top dogs in the midlands and putting the villa in their place ? What about blooding the noses of these massive clubs like Chelsea, Man U, Spurs who if you believe what they say little clubs like Albion don't deserve to be on the same pitch as them. We will never be a top 6 club but so what ? Apart from a glorious couple of seasons under big Ron we never have been in my lifetime. We are however a premier league club who are financially well run and that is all I dreamt off for the last 30 years. ![]() Not sure what the badger has to do with things but hey ho !
