Gonzalo is a naughty boy - silverbaggie - 26-06-2015

Gonzalo Jara is now to be investigated following the sending off of the Uruguayan player Cavani in the recent match between Chile and Uraguay.

It seems that he finger poked Cavani's bottom who retaliated by slapping him in the face and thus received a second yellow card.

I initially thought that this was an amusing incident until I read the BBC report which describes him as a former West Brom player.

Why not a former Nottm Forest player or any of the other clubs that he has played for?

At least we can't blame TP for this unorthodox tactic designed to 'wind up' an opposition player.
He was long gone!!!

Sorry to raise such an insignificant matter but, ain't life boring without footie?

Now it's reported that he has been sacked by his current club Mainz. A bit of a bummer that. Whistle

Can't believe that the guy is still first choice for the Chilean left back role.

How many red cards did he get while playing for us?

Was it Blackpool away when he launched in with a shocking double footer and got straight red ?

Yes, and that was also the game where one of our CB's was sent off in a case of mistaken identity not long before Jara's sending off. Albion finished the game with nine men and still threw the game away!
And Baggie Man - I'm shocked! Shocked, I tell you!
