Blackpool have named former West Ham United assistant Neil McDonald as their new manager on a one-year rolling deal.
Lee Clark resigned as manager of the Seasiders last month after the club were relegated from the Championship with 26 points from 46 games.

Now here is a job that most managers would not want!! God knows what state they will be in come the start of the season, they have a very thin squad again and show no signs of giving the manager any money to spend. They still haven't reached the bottom yet, I can see them dropping another league before things get better!!

On a hiding to nothing, the pitch was still in an average state when they had the rugby league on it a couple of weeks back and Neil Diamond has a concert there within the next couple of weeks. He had an average record as a boss at Carlisle will do not better in Lasher land
