Cardiff City Chasing More Players - spireitematt - 04-05-2015 Well after buying Eoin Doyle off us in January they are now after Sam Morsy and have stepped up their interest in signing him in the summer. Russell Slade wants to make Morsy his first summer signing for next season. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-city-step-up-interest-9180491 Also the article says that Chesterfield is in Yorkshire and not Derbyshire. Someone needs to do there research more thorough or go on Google maps. RE: Cardiff City Chasing More Players - Devongone - 04-05-2015 The article in today's Daily Telegraph on Preston missing out on automatic persistently refers to Preston losing at Chesterfield and then goes on to relate how the points we gained saved us from relegation. New TV programme suggests itself - Everywhere's in Essex. Hope the Telegraph was seeing into the future. I'd settle for a 1-0 on Thursday. RE: Cardiff City Chasing More Players - bluepooch - 05-05-2015 I don't think its essential we win on Thursday. In fact id go as far as to say id accept a 1-0 defeat ,at least we would know what we needed to do and really go for it on Sunday . RE: Cardiff City Chasing More Players - spireitematt - 05-05-2015 If we go out and win 4-0 and get a draw or 1-0 at Deepdale then I would be over the moon with that. RE: Cardiff City Chasing More Players - Devongone - 06-05-2015 Pooch I think you are right. I'd like 1-0 to us to put Preston under pressure, but a draw or a 0-1 would leave them worrying in front of their own fans. If you look at non-league play-offs you'll see examples like Fylde where the superior and fancied team lose the second leg at home when under pressure. So there's hope, even though over the season Preston have proved themselves better than us. So far Preston have achieved only the least that was expected of them - reaching the play-offs. We've massively over-achieved. Whatever the result. RE: Cardiff City Chasing More Players - spireitematt - 11-05-2015 Cardiff want Sam Morsy and Sam Clucas for £1.5 million. |
