THE LAST MATCH
Sorry for being so late with this!!!
Boring, boring, boring!!! A game where we could have blooded a few youngsters, tried something new, played 3 at the back with Buxton being back, played 3 up front with all our strikers being fit, flooded the midfield with a bit of guile and pace by using Helan there, in fact we could have tried anything FFS!!!! But we didn't, it was just the same old, same old, and it ended in a boring 1-1 draw against a dull team in front of a decent crowd who went home wondering why they went in the first place!!!
Not even going to post the video as all it will do is once again highlight how our best striker is so shit in front of goal!!!
THE MATCH - TUES 14TH APRIL 2015 15.00 GMT
At the start of the season we would have had this game down as one we should be expecting to win, maybe not easily, but a definite 3 points. As it is we are all sat here wondering by how many they will beat us by!!!
Mark Warburton has taken a small, uninspiring club and turned them into something we hoped we could be. He has done it without any star players or big signings, just good tactics and progressive philosophies, and as a consequence while we wind down our season thinking of being poolside somewhere, they are 16 points and 6 places above us and right in the mix for a playoff spot!! And they have decided that he will leave at the end of the season as he doesn't fit the way the club needs to be run going forward, maybe we should be talking to him ourselves???This will be our 32nd meeting and we have a record of W10 D12 L9. In fact we didn't beat them until the 11th game we played against them in April 1952!!! This century our record is W4 D4 L3 but in amongst these games was the two playoff games in 2005, when we won 1-0 at home and 2-1 at their place to book our place in the final!! The only other games of note were the 2nd round meeting in the Rumbelows Cup in 1990, the start of our run to the final and the last time we won anything!!
Our last game against them was one of our many 0-0 draws, a disappointing result at the time but now it looks ok!! Our last home game against them was also 0-0 back in 2011, so whats the chances of another 0-0??

Yes Stateside is in Alaska, he has been posting some nice photos on Facebook. He gave me his predictions before he went and I gave him a random number of the number of goals.
