The last paragraph is very poignient for me, it is a shame that the likes of MM are no longer rich enough to succeed at the top of the game.
"Quite simply, this Serbian-American entrepreneur is no longer exotic or rich enough to own a top club in England, which is a shame as he was good at it."

read it last week, well written article with no bias just noticing how he buys a club and sells them on when they're at a better footing. Most of the time it works out, only exception was pompey who were dealt a short straw by the FA and then the economy

To be fair to MM it wasn't the guy he sold to who took Pompey to the edge of destruction but I suppose that is the risk of any sale!!
