Well I predicted that lasts weeks excellent scoring by Group A would probably not continue and the group as a whole proved me right!! Only 2 players in double figures and while we didn't end up with a negative player score yet we did get 2 big fat zeroes!! The overall score was just over a third of last weeks with three games ending with negative totals!!
Twerton leads the way this week with 13 points. He got 2 CSs, half of the total for the group as a whole and a CR on the Bonus but he also scored the first Scoreball negative point of the season on the Villa v Newcastle scoreless draw!! Stairs is 2nd again with 11 points, he was the only player to score positive points on the Gamball as well as a CR on the Bonus. Third place is BaggieVicar with 9 points, he did not play the Gamball, a wise decision in the end which saved him a point!!
Minizin is 4th with 7 points, AAA is 5th with 6 points and BBB dropped massively to just 2 points!! All three of them missed on the Gamball and the Bonus and we all know that decimates your score.
That leaves the 2 big fat zeroes which belong to BaggieOne and Zinman. They both missed on all their balls and only managed to get 2 CRs to keep them out of negative points.

So Stairs takes over top spot from BBB, who is also overtaken by Twerton and drops to third. I seem to remember that Stairs started last season in the same fine form before dropping away, is he going to continue this form this year?
Just 4 points separates BaggieOne, AAA BaggieVicar and Minizin in 4th to 7th spots.
Then there is a rather large drop of 12 points down to Zinman who sits rock bottom with just 6 points from the first two weeks!! Obviously early days but he needs to stop trying to emulate my beloved Owls!!!!

A harder set of predictions with 2 games, Villa/Newcastle and Swansea/Sheff U generating negative scores. I suspect that there weren't too many of us bothered by Wrexham's last minute goal but I suspect Salop was gnashing his teeth at the loss of 4 points on his gamball!
2 weeks in and 2 weeks on top of the table for Themaclad. He followed last week's 22 points with a slightly more subdued performance, 13 points from 6 correct predictions though he missed out on any correct scores. Lady Jane was one of three players brave enough to predict an Albion away win and one of only 2 to predict a correct score - enough to get her to double figures and 2nd place. 4eva is just a point back, 5 correct predictions including the gamball but again no correct scores.
Snooty decided to turn up this week and had a decent start - he was the 2nd player with a correct score and also claimed a positive bonus ball. Salop and SCO are together on 6 points, both scoring on 3 games with Salop getting the gamball and a scoreball point, SCO with a correct bonus. Derby holds up the table with just 4 points - he scored on more games than the 3 above him but missed out on all the balls.

Started off at a jog, if past performance is anything to go by I will soon be at a walk then a crawl.
