MOTD - Dancingwilldoit - 07-07-2025 See the BBC still has a sense of humour, Wayne Rooney taking over from Gary Lineker as presenter. Wayne bloody Sleep has more personality and can at least speak English. Glad I don't watch it. RE: MOTD - Devongone - 08-07-2025 I think Wayne's fluent command of English and handsome good looks will be an addition to MOTD well worth the £800,000pa. Personally I don't believe it. I think it is an evil revenge tweet from Rebekah Vardy (or whatever her name is). I used to watch it. UNTIL YESTERDAY. But at least Wayne won't have any controversial opinions. Apparently it is also being mooted that he should take over from Fiona Bruce on Question Time and The Guardian has appointed him as its Modern Art Correspondent. Eric Cantona is taking over from Clive Myrie reading the News ..... And Paul Merson is taking over from Robert Peston. RE: MOTD - spireitematt - 11-07-2025 No he's not. The new presenter's of MOTD will be Gabby Logan, Kelly Cates and Mark Chapman. It's going to be a job share. Wayne Rooney has signed up as a pundit, probably one of the reasons why he turned down the Macclesfield job which his brother has now got. RE: MOTD - Dancingwilldoit - 11-07-2025 Is his brother Mickey? Sorry but it's bloody hot. |
