Not enough stripes let alone blue dye in my opinion. Why we have to have a different shade of blue every season beats me. Royal Blue please and stick to it.

It's only two stripes more than that god-awful 1970's kit that was an all blue shirt.

I don't mind it. Yeah maybe the stripes could be a bit narrower but I think it's a decent effort. I do like the sown on badge, a lot of castors stuff is ironed on logos, so it makes a nice change.
Be interesting to see what scheme the away shirts are, ones generally bog standard and the other fancier, sometimes brighter

Just been down to the club shop to try the new home shirt on for size. I say shop, the actual shop is shut for renovations. I thought the temporary shop might be the old portacabin but now it’s basically the size of little more than a small outbuilding of about 12ft by about 8ft.
Anyway I asked to try a shirt on, guy in front had just tried one on and was trying a different size, I asked what size the one they were putting back away was and was told it was a 2XL. I said can I try that on and was told no, you have to buy before you can try…ridiculous if you ask me. On further discussion the lad said because of the ‘shop’ layout ( or lack of) the insurance wouldn’t cover me trying the shirt on in that location.
Asked if I had a season card, produced it on my google wallet….no good, have you got your client reference number.
Wasn’t the greatest shopping experience, never before anywhere been asked to pay for stuff before trying things on.
My point being that shirt launches/sales usually occur at the same time of year each pre season, which idiots decided it was a good idea to sell shirts out of little more than a hut and shut the shop without having a decent back up plan in place. It’s obvious people want to try things on, it’ll be chaos on Saturday pre game if they continue with the palarva we went through today.

I see you have Castore as your kit manufacturer, some fans of clubs who have there kits made by Castore don't like them. They complain of the material being cheap and the badge and sponsors falling off.
Aston Villa had their kit manufactured by them about 2-3 seasons ago and both the men's and women's team complained that when they started to sweat or it rained, the shirt would become tight across the chest and heavy which made it uncomfortable to run around in.
As someone who is an admirer of football shirts and I do have quite a few, I think the best shirt that Huddersfield had was the one from a few seasons ago when it was manufactured by Umbro. At Chesterfield our kit is manufactured by Puma and they can be hit and miss when it comes to designs or colours. The shirt manufacturer I really like is Hummel, Umbro, Bukta made good quality shirts.
