Rangers v Hibs - Saturday 5 April - ritchiebaby - 04-04-2025 Hibs have extended their unbeaten League run to 15 games, but I feel that their visit to Ibrox will see that end on Saturday against Rangers - Rangers of all teams!!! Hibs go to Glasgow with a great confidence in their ability to shine in their play and to grind out results when required. Rangers have a notoriously fragile defence when under pressure and Hibs must take advantage of this. And Rangers have lost too regularly at Ibrox to allow them to be installed as favourites, as has happened far too often in the past. However, although this is a really tight game in prospect, I feel that Rangers will be more ruthless in attack than Hibs and that might prove to be the difference. RE: Rangers v Hibs - Saturday 5 April - ritchiebaby - 05-04-2025 I've never been more pleased to be proved wrong in my whole life. Jack Butland made yet another error and Cyril Dessers again proved that although he might be ruthless on occasions, he fails more often than not. A brilliant 16 in a row for Hibs and a miserable 5 in a row from Rangers. What a joyous day on both accounts. SDG - "Every time there was a slight mistake, a teammate was there to bail them out. A massive collective performance - the subs came on and impacted the game." And that's what makes good teams better every time. Barry Ferguson said "I'm not going to kid anybody on. Hibs deserved it. They tackled harder, ran harder and wanted it more. It's sore for me to say that." Great to hear that Barry. Do you still want the poisoned chalice that is the Rangers job? RE: Rangers v Hibs - Saturday 5 April - hibeejim21 - 07-04-2025 What a 2nd half to the season we are having ritchie !!! No one could have seen this kind of turnaround, yeah the cup game was disappointing but ultimately we didn't do enough in an attacking sense at parkhead to get the win. Yesterday was different, we played the exactly right tactics hitting them on the break and nullifying them in possession. Butland is always good value to chuck one in as well. Sevco haven't got better since they dispensed with the belgian banger, now managed by a badly tattooed ned who got binned at Alloa and some assorted sportscene pundits. The officials did their best to help them of course, denying us a stonewall pk and giving them fouls and VAR checks for anything. At one stage we broke through and play was stopped for....who knows what ? There is no finer sight than our fans giving it large in a rapidly emptying ibrox. Beautiful. |
