Prediction League Week 14 Results - St Charles Owl - 12-12-2024

Group A

Twerton 5
Minizin 4
Themaclad 2
Zinman 2
A.A.A. 2
Amelia -1

Even if two games had not been postponed I reckon this week would have still been dreadful!! Lowest total score of the season by quite a way and had it not been for Minizin getting a CR on the Gamball we would have seen a complete washout on the major balls. Ironically every player scored on their Scoreball!!

Twerton leads the way with 5 points, he was one of only two players to get a correct result. Minizin was the other player to get a correct score which helped him stay positive!!

Themaclad, Zinman and AAA all ended on 2 points, nothing interesting to say here except this saw Themaclad set a season low score for the second week in a row and for the 3rd time in 5 weeks!! Amelia is bottom of the pile and she too set a new season low with -1 points unfortunately!!

144 Themaclad
118 Twerton
117 Minzin
112 Zinman
100 Amelia
92 A.A.A.

No changes at all this week, all in the same spot and Themaclad still holds a solid lead!!

Cheers
SCO

Group B

Snooty 10
Stairs 9
SCO 8
BaggieOne 7
Derby 6
BBB 2
Lady Jane -1

A reduced fixture list this week due to 2 postponements because of a bit of a breeze. Correct scores were rare (though kudos to BaggieOne who was so close to predicting the Spurs/Chelsea score) and scores across the extra balls were spread widely.

2 firsts for Snooty this week - his first week at the top of the table, largely....well, totally, due to his first of the season maximum gamball. Apart from the 8 points from that one game (who could have guessed that the Hawthorns would see a relative avalanche of goals again) he didn't get much else but it was enough to keep him a point ahead of Stairs. There's a nic epattern to this week's scores with the top 5 all scoring 1 less point that the player above. BBB breaks this pattern, scoring on 3 games but missing out on the balls - the only player to fail on the scoreball this week, but he still manages to outscore Lady Jane whose recent slump continues with a negative score from just one correct result and a scoreball.

151 Lady Jane
130 Derby
111 Stairs
107 SCO
105 Snooty
96 BBB
87 BaggieOne

Lady Jane quite literally went backwards at the top of the table but still retains a healthy 21 point lead over Derby. Although the chasing pack are within a few points of each other, there were no positional changes this week.
