Decent week of scoring in terms of the average points for each player, but we are dropping players like Watford drop managers at the moment so the total points are not that high!!! Minizin gets his first top place in a while with 16 points, he got a CR on the Gamball and the Bonus and scored on 7 games, if only he could have found a couple of Correct Scores in there he could have been on for a really big score. Derby was second with 14 points, he only scored on 5 games but unlike Minizin was able to get 2 CSs. Lady Jane came third on 11 points, she was the only other player to score positive points on the Gamball.
BBB and Stairs were joint 4th with 10 points. BBB missed on the Gamball but got a CR on his bonus, Stairs managed a weeks high 2 CSs but his score was down as he missed on all his balls!!
Bottom of the participants this week is one of our league leaders, Zinman, who missed on all his balls and managed just 2 CRs to cancel out the negative points and might as well have not bothered to show up with his zero total points!!! Blue Baggie, our other league leader actually didn't bother to show up at all after struggling to cope with waiting on the results last week, so by the rules he scores one less point than the bottom scorer so ended on -1 for his lack of effort!!

So after the deliberate no show and the involuntary no show we now have joint leaders in Blue Baggie and Zinman, although if Blue does decide to come back as we hope he will, Zin may well rue this week when he technically had no opponent but then tripped as he ran onto the pitch and couldn't score himself!!.
BBB takes third spot on his own, partly due to some added points from Week 26 that I missed and now holds a slender lead over Minizin and Derby with just 9 points separating all three. Stairs is firmly fixed in the relegation PO spot and LJ doesn't seem to be making up any real ground on him.

A decent week for the Championship with a high proportion of correct score predictions. Balls were mixed with the bonus again causing problems. Only one fixture failed to score any points with nobody predicting Villa's humiliating, crushing, hilarious, joyful (I could go on) defeat. It was definitely a good week for 0-4 2nd halves (sorry, Snooty).
BaggieOne had his best week of the season to secure his first 20 point week and sit perched on top of the Championship table this week. He was helped by a gamball maximum as one of 3 correct scores and the week's high of 6 correct predictions, though he did put his bonus on a Villa win - apparently they lost, rather heavily. SCO reacted to Twerton's pressure at the top by posting another strong week with 16 points from 5 correct predictions and 3 maximums, though he failed with the Gamball.
AAA is 3rd with the week's only bonus maximum - he chose not to play the gamball and therefore lost out on 2 points as he predicted the draw. It seems that whenever he avoids the gamball, he gets it right whereas if he does play it he gets it wrong!
Sanjay and Twerton reached double figures, Sanjay matching SCO's 3 out of 5 correct score predictions but he was let down by his balls. Twerton scored on just 4 games including his bonus but only got 1 correct score.
Themaclad and Snooty both scored 7 points to share the bottom spot. Themaclad only got 2 results correct but was saved by one of them being a maximum and the other his bonus. Snooty was the only player not to get a score right but did pick up 4 points from the Gamball.

No changes in overall positions with the top 2 looking set for promotion. The battle for the play-off spot is intense with just 5 points between AAA and Snooty - will AAA live to regret his reluctance to play the Gamball?
Finally, can I apologise to whoever runs this site for posting these results on Monday causing them to miss out on about 350 site visits?
