Darren Fletcher - drewks - 04-02-2015 Good buy or average? IMO he'll be a fantastic addition if only for his leadership qualities; I'm sure this'll be recognised by TP. Great tribute here from a ManUtd perspective: http://thepeoplesperson.com/2015/02/04/a-fond-farewell-to-darren-fletcher-the-football-genius-70264/? RE: Darren Fletcher - Worldclassalbion - 04-02-2015 Welcome to West Bromwich Albion FC 'Fletch' RE: Darren Fletcher - wba_1996 - 04-02-2015 Lescott and Fletcher are players we couldn't have even dreamed of signing when we first gained promotion. Along with Foster, Yacob, Mulumbu, Sessegnon and Berahino we have a very strong spine - the problem is some of the sh*te around them. RE: Darren Fletcher - Latecomer - 05-02-2015 Very very good signing. Massive upgrade on what we have in CM in terms of distribution of the ball. Won't win as many tackles as Yacob or get as many assists as McMannaman but his organisation, passing, work rate, positional sense will be a million times better than what we have. Great signing IMO RE: Darren Fletcher - drewks - 05-02-2015 http://www.wba.co.uk/news/article/darren-fletcher-ben-foster-west-bromwich-albion-2248431.aspx? RE: Darren Fletcher - drewks - 10-02-2015 It was on another thread (don't know which one tho!) that we were saying about the older players in the team taking responsibility; good to read this from TP: “We had a meeting this morning with the senior pros. I have had Brunty in there, Joleon (Lescott), Ben (Foster) and Fletch, talking about little things that I want to be implemented at the football club over the next couple of weeks. “They are senior players, they have all played in the Premier League for a long time. Darren might be wearing the armband, we might expect a lot of him, but there are other people who can join in and contribute. That is the way I have always been.” RE: Darren Fletcher - silverbaggie - 10-02-2015 (10-02-2015, 17:59)drewks Wrote: It was on another thread (don't know which one tho!) that we were saying about the older players in the team taking responsibility; good to read this from TP: I know that he's been out injured but what about Jonas?? |
